At Rome Pope Francis greets Angelina Jolie during a private audience at the Vatican on Thursday morning (January 8).
The 39-year-old actress and director screened her film Unbroken at the Vatican, and while the Pope did not attend, a delegation of Vatican leaders were in attendance.
Earlier in the day, Angelina released a statement about meeting the Pope, saying, “Being invited with my film to the Vatican is an honor and a great tribute to the story that I have told in Unbroken.”
Angelina was given a keepsake from her visit as well – a rosary, People reports.
