Popular Nollywood actor cum comedian Dede One Day is dead, he reportedly died yesterday after performing as Master of Ceremony in a program held in Aba on Saturday, and headed for another program in Ugwunagbo area of Abia State yesterday Sunday where he was paid to also perform as the Master of Ceremony, his performance was however cut-short after he slumped and was rushed to the hospital.

Reports available to News Reporters Int’l reveal that the comic actor died late last night after he was rushed to the hospital over BP related issue.

The comic actor whose real name alone fans say was enough to make them laugh, and the sight of him in action makes them laugh so much more. While acting, he talks in a very funny way, and walks in an even more funny way.


One of his movies as a Nollywood actor – The Village Musician, where he acted alongside Victor Osuagwu was a hit.

In the movie, Dede One Day was in the city learning trade with his master. He was sent to Cotonou with N500,000 for a business transaction, he arrived Cotonou and went to a night club, were he picked up a prostitute who stole all the money given to him for the business transaction while he was fast asleep in the hotel where they both had a one night stand.

He came back to Nigeria empty handed
to meet his master who then sent him back to the village where he reunited with his good for nothing self acclaimed professional musician – Victor Osuagwu.

Receiving the sad news of his demise, some of his fans said he will be greatly missed.

Victor Nwokeocha, another fan of the late comic actor, wrote on Facebook: Dede One Day played his role. I recall my personal interactions with him at Umuahia and Owerri with nostalgia. He will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace
